thoughts on Hugo winners

So, the Hugo award winners were announced. Though I am late to the party in commenting on it, of course, I have to say I am pretty disappointed with the results.
I voted in seven categories, and in three of those the nominee I chose to finish last was the one that won. (Take that up to 4/8 if you count Girl Genius.) I am particularly miffed by the awards to The Emperor of Mars, which sucked, and Girl Genius, which in no conceivable universe deserves to win three years in a row.
The winners that I did vote for were Inception (best long-form dramatic presentation) and Shaun Tan (best artist now for two years in a row), but those are categories that are less important to me. I may have voted for Clarkesworld, as well (and I certainly don't begrudge them the award).
Unfortunate that the first year I actually voted turned out to be so crappy.
(My thoughts on the nominees before the votes were tallied.)
