the waiting is the hardest part

this is driving me crazy.

it's a popeye miracle!

Oh yeah. I keep forgetting to mention this. Remember how I mentioned earlier about how I longed to get my hands on a copy of the Popeye Soundtrack? Well, as it turns out, that very item was found to be part of my recently deceased uncle's collection. Joy! (I got Ren and Stimpy for Christmas, cut me some slack.) The man had his faults (boy did he), but I feel strongly that anyone who owned the Popeye Soundtrack can't be all bad.

nativity test

Oh yeah, I gave my high school kids another test recently. On the nativity lesson I gave. And they crashed and burned. It was pathetic. I feel bad. But, in their defense (and mine, since I'm the one who subjected them to it), we didn't know when I gave the lesson that they were going to be tested on it. I had just gotten back from Southeast Asia, and the teacher was like, "Hey! They have to take a test on Friday! Write a 35 point test on your nativity lesson!" Had we known at the time that there was going to be a test on it, the kids might have paid more attention and I might have wink-wink-nudge-nudged a few things a little more. Anyway.
