you'll still have to call me sir

I've been on this creativity kick lately. I wrote another song today. Actually, the guitar and vocal part have been written for a long time, at least a year, but I could never come up with lyrics for it that I liked. Until today. I'm pretty pleased with it, actually. I've written three songs now. The first one is called "Then Again." Numero dos is "Ashes in the Fall." And I call Number Three, "My Oasis." Actually, I think the new baby may be the best of the bunch so far.

there's just two songs in me
and i just wrote the third
don't where i got the inspiration
or how i wrote the words
spent my whole life just digging
my music's shallow grave
for the two songs in me
and the third one i just made

Now I need to see about coming up with the music for "Mixed Signals." Hmmm...

destiny

Oh, I finished the Destiny playlist, too. I finalized it about a week ago, but hadn't got around to posting it. Anyway...

( there's no single explanation, there's no central destination )

So, next up would be Destruction. But I've got a huge order of CDs coming in the mail soon, so I'll probably wait to work through those before making more playlists. I've been thinking I want to make a playlist of my favorite dance songs, too, so we may take some time out for that here before too long.
