Thoughts on 2012 Hugo nominations: Other Stuff

I would normally vote for Best Dramatic Presentation, Long Form, but this year I'm pretty blasé about the entries (Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Source Code, Hugo, Captain America), so I think I'll pass.

For Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form, I will vote for the Community episode "Remedial Chaos Theory", which I watched and enjoyed, and put no award after that. One of the nominees is an acceptance speech for a Hugo award last yer, which I don't think merits consideration for a Hugo this year, and the rest are Doctor Who episodes, and I consider Doctor Who to be vastly overrated.

For Best Professional Artist, I will vote for Stephan Martiniere for the top spot. He's won before, but I like him a lot and he's the only nominee this year about whose work I wouldn't classify as standard fare.

I don't have the time/interest/energy to care about the other categories, unfortunately.
