I think I should write a song about mixed signals, called "Mixed Signals." The words would go like this:

Go for it, that's a lot more sophisticated than what usually passes for pop lyrics.

Yes, the lyrics are deep and complex, and will not give up their inner meaning in a casual read-through. That's just how I am as an artist, though, and I won't apologize for it!
