Kotooshu beat both Asashoryu and Hakuho to win the latest sumo tournament with a 12-0 record! I'm so happy.

EDIT: Actually he ended up winning the tournament with a 14-1 record, I believe, but he still won.

Yay Kotooshu! I'm sure there a quite a few Japanese who aren't too happy about that though, but he's pretty popular there, so it's probably not too bad.

C's dad says that C looked like Asashoryu when she was a baby.

I think many Japanese people would prefer a Kotooshu yokozuna to Asashoryu. I like Asashoryu, though. Not such a big fan of Hakuho. Funny, the Japanese wrestlers haven't really been making such a good showing the past several years.
