PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT (and redundant post)

One year ago I wrote the first 50,000 words in one month. And now, at last, it's done. In the last twenty-four hours I wrote nearly 5000 words (more than I've ever written of the thing in one day) and finally finished 'er off, less than five minutes ago.

The first draft of the novel is finished. Final word count: 65,264.

So, I'm going to want people to read it and tell me, honestly, what they think. Basically I want to know whether this novel is something I should follow up on, or whether I should "move on to the next project," so to speak. Though more detailed comments would of course be lovely.

Seriously, I want you to! Drop me an email (or a comment) and let me know!

Of course, I'll need to go through it once or twice myself before I'll be ready to show it to others. I haven't read most of it since it was first written, so... yeah. Give me a little bit. (Maybe a big bit.) But let me know if you want to give it a crack!

Hmm... The thing is, I don't have a printer, which means I'd have to use the school's printer to print it, which would be a lot of printing... Hmm....

I won't have a printer either, and I abhore reading anything more than a page or two long on the computer screen. If you don't have access to a printer, it's all good. Seems like you'll have plenty of feedback from others. Up to you.

What kind of book is it again? Because i'm picky about my genres of reading, so if you hand me a sci-fi or fantasy book I probably won't like it.

Yeeeahh. You might not like it. I dunno. It definitely skates into fantasy territory.

Geez, I wonder you guys'll think about it? Kinda scary. I hope it doesn't suck. You'll have to let me know. I'm hoping to have it ready to send out for comments within another month or so.

It also occurred to me that it might be more palatable if I sent it out chapter by chapter instead of all at once. When you'd finished one chapter you could let me know and I'd send you the next. What do you think? All at once or in syndication?
