So, I went to Australia. As mentioned before, I wasn't that interested in going to Australia. I mostly went because it was a cheaper way to get to New Zealand and because now I can say I've been there. And my time in Australia didn't really change my attitude toward it. It reminded me a lot of the US, actually. Both have a lot in common- both are former British colonies, both have a lot of space, and both have indigenous populations that were brutally suppressed. Australia felt like one part California and two parts Texas. Anyway...

In the last entry I said there's no real reason to go Australia, but there is, actually, one reason to go, if you're into that sort of thing. And that is the unique wildlife. Here's some pictures.

We also visited a waterfall, which allowed me to play with some of Seven-kun's settings and see what it could do.

One interesting thing about the Grampians, which we didn't know until we got there, is that last year it was wasted by a huge forest fire. Much of the park was closed and there weren't many people there. Which was fine by me. I thought it was cool.
