Today I taught three classes back to back at the elementary school, which is probably the most work I've ever done at one stretch for this job.

The good: I've never seen such jubilation as that evidenced by the first graders at their first English class since graduating preschool.

The bad: Their preferred method of showing their affection is to run up and punch me in the balls.

Eh. It's a living.

They're quite fond of both, but on this particular day it was pretty straight forward punching. If one kid gets it in their head to try it, they all feel like they need to give it a go...

I have to say that any living that involves getting punched in the 'nads probably wouldn't be for me.

I think I've made it clear that I love my preschoolers, but there have been moments where they pissed me off to the point that I had to take a moment away to keep from smacking the little bastards. Sexual assault at the hands of four year olds is a constant problem...
