security questions
Sep. 14th, 2005 02:22 pmI hate it when places force you to have a security question that they'll ask you if you forget your password. If you enter the correct response, you're just making it that much easier for someone who has some personal info on you to crack your account. And if you enter an incorrect response, then you have to remember exactly what incorrect response you entered, which makes it like having another password. Most the time I just enter gibberish and leave it be, but at Vanguard.com, for instance, to open new accounts I have to answer my security question. Doh!
