Sep. 16th, 2005 03:14 pmHey! I realized I CAN make it to Hiroshima in time! If at one point in my journey I change a ($10) bus ride over to a ($40) cab ride, I shave 90 minutes off my travel time, allowing me to arrive in Hiroshima at 5pm, in plenty of time to make the 6pm performance!
I just purchased my ticket online! It's a done deal! Ben Folds- we shall meet again! (At least as much as we've ever met...)
I've never been to Hiroshima before, either, so that will be fun.
And you know, I don't think it would even have occurred to me to do that if Kami hadn't mentioned it. Thanks!
[15:30 EDIT: Oh hey. Wait a second... I just realized that Friday the 23rd is a Japanese holiday. (I think it's so cool that the equinoxes are holidays in Japan.) No school, no work! I have plenty of time to get to Hiroshima! All that unnecessary angst... I'm just glad I realized I could make it before it was too late to buy tickets.]
